A Legacybox Membership gives you access to a secure, private digital home for your family's photos, videos, and audio memories—organized, protected, and easy to access anytime, from anywhere at my.legacybox.com or in the Legacybox app.
How do I set up my Legacybox account?
When we ship your completed order back to you, we will also send an email to ask you to set up your Legacybox account.
How do I share a memory?
You can share individual photos, videos, or audio—or an entire collection—from your Legacybox account using a private link or by email. Recipients can view what you share without creating a Legacybox account.
How do I add friend or family members to my Legacybox account?
Shared family accounts are in development. For now, you can share memories individually from your account. Here's how sharing works in the meantime.
How do I add dates to my memories?
In your Legacybox account, dates are currently captured at the year level. While you can't add a full day and month yet, adding a year helps organize and sort your memories across your library.

Your Legacybox account gives you a few simple ways to organize your photos and videos so they're easy to find, browse, and share over time. You can organize memories by title, year, and collections.
Where are my files stored?
All files in your Legacybox account are secured on Fortune 100 Servers, across multiple fault zones with 99% durability. We also maintain a second copy of all of your files in a separate location for added peace of mind.
How do I title my memories?

Collections let you group related photos and videos by event, person, place, or theme so they're easier to find. Here's how to add a memory to a collection.
How do I download my files?
Download photos, videos, and audio from your Legacybox account straight to your computer. Photos can be downloaded in batches; videos and audio download one at a time for reliability.
I’ve downloaded my files—where did they go?
Successful downloads go to your device's Downloads folder, or to Photos if you chose that option on mobile. Here's where to look on each device.
Why are some of my digital files missing?
If you have not received an order note and your files are still missing, please reach out to [email protected] so we can take a look.
Why can't I download everything in my account all at once?
Your Legacybox account doesn't support exporting your entire library in a single download. This is intentional and designed to protect your files. Many Legacybox memories—especially home videos and audio recordings—are very large.
How do I share my entire Legacybox order?
You can share your whole Legacybox order, including every photo, video, and audio recording, with family and friends all at once. The person you share with doesn't need a Legacybox account, and it doesn't cost them anything.
How do I hide or unhide a memory?
You can hide memories to tuck them away from your library, and unhide them anytime. Hiding is only a visibility switch, so your memory's details, comments, and collections are always preserved.
How do I rotate a photo or swap its front and back?
You can rotate a photo until it is right side up, and choose which side of a two-sided photo shows first in your library, right from the photo viewer.
Is there a Legacybox app?
Yes. The Legacybox app for iPhone and iPad is free on the App Store. Use it to track your order and to view, play, share, and save your digitized memories.
How do I sign in to the Legacybox app?
Download the Legacybox app, then sign in with the email address you used to place your order. You can use an emailed code or your password. First time? The app walks you through setup.
What can I do in the Legacybox app?
The Legacybox app lets you track your order and view, play, share, and save your memories. Managing your membership, organizing collections, and editing are still done at my.legacybox.com.
How do I save or share a memory from the Legacybox app?
Open a memory in the Legacybox app and tap Share. From there you can save it to Photos or Files, or send it with Messages, Mail, or AirDrop.
Why can't I see my memories in the Legacybox app?
Usually it's one of a few things: your memories aren't ready yet, your membership is inactive, you signed in with a different email, or your device can't run iOS 26.
