I’ve downloaded my files—where did they go?Updated a day ago
If your download completed successfully, your files were saved to your device’s Downloads folder (or Photos, if you chose that option on mobile). Where to find them depends on the device you’re using.
Apple computer (Mac)
Downloaded files are saved in the Downloads folder.
Open Finder
Select Downloads in the sidebar
You can use Finder’s search to filter by file ID.
Windows / PC
Downloaded files are saved in the Downloads folder.
Open File Explorer (or press Windows key + E)
Select Downloads
Your most recent downloads will appear at the top.
iPhone
Downloaded files are usually saved in the Files app unless you selected Save to Photos.
To find them:
Open the Files app
Tap Browse
Tap iCloud Drive
Open Downloads
If you chose Save to Photos, the file will appear in your Photos app instead.
Android phone
Downloaded files are usually saved in the Downloads folder.
Open the Files or Downloads app
Open Downloads
Look for your most recent files
If you saved the file to Photos or your camera roll, check your Gallery app.
Still can’t find your file?
Confirm the download finished completely
Check your device’s Downloads folder again
Try searching your device for the file ID
