How do I download my files?Updated a day ago
You can download photos, videos and audio from Legacybox Cloud directly to your computer. Photos can be downloaded individually or in batches, while videos and audio are downloaded one at a time to ensure reliable, complete downloads.
Download a photo or video
Sign in to your Legacybox Cloud account at https://cloud.legacybox.com
Open the memory you want to download
Select any photo or video thumbnail from your homepage.
Select Download
The Download button appears beneath the memory.
Wait for the download to complete
A progress indicator in your browser will typically appear while the file is downloading.
Video files are often large and may take several minutes, depending on your internet speed.
Find your file
Once complete, the file will appear in your device’s Downloads folder, or wherever you chose as the download destination.
Download multiple photos at once
If you want to download many photos at the same time, you can do so from the Photos section of Legacybox Cloud.
Navigate to Photos in your Cloud account
Choose Download All Photo to start a batch download
Batch downloads are available for photos only.
Why are videos downloaded one at a time?
Home movie files are often very large. Downloading videos one at a time helps ensure each file finishes downloading successfully.
When multiple large video files are downloaded at once, web browsers can time out or fail before the downloads complete. Requiring videos to download individually reduces interruptions and helps prevent incomplete or corrupted files.
While this means downloading videos one by one, it results in a more reliable experience—especially for long or high-resolution home movies.
