Why can't I download everything in my account all at once?Updated 13 days ago

Legacybox Cloud doesn’t support exporting your entire library in a single download. This is intentional and designed to protect your files.

Many Legacybox memories—especially home videos and audio recordings—are very large. Attempting to download everything at once often causes:

  • Failed or incomplete downloads

  • Storage limits being exceeded on phones, tablets, or computers

By limiting how files are downloaded, we help ensure your memories arrive completely and reliably, without interruption.

While full-library export isn’t supported, you still have flexible ways to download your memories.



Download all photos at once

You can download all photos in your account in a single batch.

To do this:

  1. Go to the Photos section of your Legacybox Cloud account

  2. Select Download All Photos button to export your photos together

This works well because photos are smaller files and download more reliably in batches.



Download videos and audio individually

Videos and audio files must be downloaded one at a time.

To download a video or audio file:

  1. Select the memory thumbnail to open it

  2. Tap Download icon.

Downloading these files individually helps prevent browser failures and ensures each file finishes successfully.



Why this approach works better

  • Large media files are less likely to fail when downloaded individually

  • Your device is less likely to run out of storage mid-download

While it may take a bit longer, this approach is much more dependable—especially for long or high-quality recordings.
