How do I hide or unhide a memory?Updated 3 minutes ago
Sometimes there are memories you’d rather not see every time you browse your library. Hiding lets you tuck a memory away without deleting anything, and you can bring it back whenever you like.
Hide a memory
Open a memory
Open the extras menu

Select Hide memory

Confirm your choice
The memory moves to your Hidden collection.
Unhide a memory
Visit your collections
Open your Hidden collection
Open the memory you’d like to bring back
Open the extras menu and select Unhide memory (the open-eye icon)

Confirm your choice
You’ll see a “Memory restored” note, and the memory returns to your library right away. If you change your mind, you have a few seconds to select Undo to keep it hidden.
Unhide several memories at once
To restore more than one memory at a time, open your Hidden collection, tap Select button, then choose all the memories you’d like to bring back, and choose Unhide selected.
What happens when you hide a memory
Hiding is a visibility switch, never a deletion. When you unhide a memory, it returns to your library and to every collection it belonged to, with its titles, dates, details, and comments exactly as they were. Nothing about the memory changes except whether you can see it in your library.
