What is Legacybox?
Legacybox is the simplest way to preserve your memories. Send us your home movies, photos, and film in our all-in-one kit, and we'll convert them to digital so they're safe, shareable, and easy to enjoy.
How does Legacybox work?
We send you an all-in-one kit. You fill it with tapes, film, photos, and audio, and ship it back with the prepaid label. We digitize everything and return your originals with your new digital copies.
How long does Legacybox take?
That is somewhat up to you! During the checkout process, you'll be asked to select a digitizing time. Standard Digitizing (FREE) is included with all Legacyboxes. We also offer two paid rush options if you need your media back faster.

Is it safe to mail my memories to Legacybox?
Yes. Over 1 million families have trusted us with their memories. Barcode tracking, careful handling, and optional shipping protection keep your items accounted for the whole way.
What is an item?
1 item = 1 tape, 1 reel, or 1 pack of 25 photos. Every Legacybox is prepaid for a set number of items, and you can mix and match media types however you like.
Will you return my original items?
Absolutely! We understand how important, and even irreplaceable, your originals items are. We always make sure to return your original items with your completed order.
What size Legacybox should I order?
We offer a range of sizes, and every kit includes extra barcodes in case your collection doesn't fit neatly into one. Send in more than you prepaid for and we'll simply invoice the difference.
Where do you ship?
We can ship anywhere to the continental United States. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Army, Air Force, or Fleet Post Offices at this time.
I live in Chattanooga. Can I bring my Legacybox to you?
We don't have a physical storefront for customer drop-offs, so we aren't able to accept hand-delivered Legacyboxes. To keep the process safe and efficient, all orders are sent to us using the prepaid UPS shipping label included in your kit.
What are my shipping options, and how much do they cost?
We offer several shipping options depending on your box. Standard and Ground are delivered by USPS, with faster options available. Here's what each costs.
Will you edit, improve, or restore my media items?
We transfer your media one-to-one, so quality depends on the condition of your originals. We don't offer editing or restoration services at this time.
Will you clean or fix media before you digitize it?
At this time we do not offer film or photo cleaning services. Our repair service is limited to splicing; we don't offer a comprehensive tape repair service.
What is shipping protection?

Will you keep my photos in chronological order?
We use a variety of scanners to get the best quality from your photos, slides, and negatives, so processing order can vary. Here's what that means for how your photos come back.
