Will you edit, improve or restore my media?

We offer a one-to-one transfers so the quality of your digital files will depend largely on the condition of your originals. For tapes, we'll transfer the entire time which may include some blank or blue screen. At this time we do not offer any restoration services. 

Will my transfers include any blank or blue screen on my tapes? 

We understand the need to remove footage that is blank or unnecessary. However, at Legacybox we value each possible memory so we do not edit any footage or format that we receive. 

If you know your tapes have blank or blue screen, we'd recommend one of our digital delivery options (Online Cloud Access or Thumb Drive) so you can easily trim your files. Our Customer Service team would be happy to recommend a few easy editing tools. 

Can you color enhance my film? 

While our process does include frame-by-frame captures, cool LED technology to protect your film, and flicker remove, we do not offer color enhancement. 

Our process is a straight 1 to 1 transfer, so the condition of your original items will dictate the quality of the finalized product.

If you're interested in color correcting your digital files, we'd recommend one of our digital delivery options (Online Cloud Access or Thumb Drive) so you can easily edit your files. Our Customer Service team would be happy to recommend a few easy editing tools.

Can you restore my old photos?

Unfortunately, no. Restoring old or damaged photos is not a service we offer at this time.

However, once your photo files are downloaded to your computer, you can easily reorganize, create folders, and rename the individual images to your liking! You can also easily load them into the image editor of your choice and retouch and edit.
