What if my tapes aren't full? Or are moldy or damaged?Updated 7 days ago
What if my tapes aren't full?
We charge by the number of items, regardless of your tapes’ length or format. For example, a tape with six hours of footage will be counted the same as a tape with five minutes of footage.
Pricing by item count enables us to streamline the ordering process, so you don't have to go through and confirm the amount of content on each item!
What if my tape is blank?
It's pretty common for a few items in a collection to be blank. Our technicians always review your items to make sure that they contain content. When you receive your completed order, if any of your items are blank, they will have a sticker on them for easy identification.
Processing an item full of footage or an item with no footage takes our Technicians the same amount of time. We QA every moment of each tape to make sure we didn't miss anything and that our customers recieve their full footage.
What if my tapes are moldy or water damaged?
While there are many things we can do, transferring moldy or water damaged tapes is not something we have mastered yet.
Nature's cycle will run its course and unfortunately, water damage and mold are a part of that cycle. If your tapes are moldy or have water damage, we will not be able to transfer them for you.
